Purchasing, delivery and assembly all went smoothly. Added oil and gas then cranked on first pull. Used both forward and reverse tine to break up hard packed clay soil. I prefer the reverse tine so far, broke up and mixed compost in really well. Have used the tiller twice in 10X20 garden. Hope to have an early start in the spring. I would recommend the Mustang for any gardening need.
A well constructed machine. Clear directions for the minor amount of assembly. It gives reminders of needing oil before running and started on ONE PULL !
I appreciate that it runs forward and backwards without the tines engaged. A good strong running investment.
This is one tough tiller. I put it through a workout the second time I used it. The ground was very rocky and hard. The machine performed well.
We had no issues with our order and/or receiving our delivery - this company was very easy to work with and we would recommend them to others without hesitation.
I really enjoy the reversing tines. I looked hard to find a tiller with that feature, and most customer service salespeople don't even know about it. The assembly was awkward. As simple as it is to assemble, reading the instructions made things more confusing. Starting it up, the clutch was jammed, and I could not get it to connect to the safety release bar until I took it apart.
Operating it was fun. The soft dirt that it creates is beautiful- until you make your next round and the tire wants to sink into it, and tips. Got to figure that part out.
I had many choices and analyzed and compared several manufacturers. I chose the Mustang mainly because of its dual rotation tines, reputation, American-made, and warranty.
