This is one tough tiller. I put it through a workout the second time I used it. The ground was very rocky and hard. The machine performed well.
I really enjoy the reversing tines. I looked hard to find a tiller with that feature, and most customer service salespeople don't even know about it. The assembly was awkward. As simple as it is to assemble, reading the instructions made things more confusing. Starting it up, the clutch was jammed, and I could not get it to connect to the safety release bar until I took it apart.
Operating it was fun. The soft dirt that it creates is beautiful- until you make your next round and the tire wants to sink into it, and tips. Got to figure that part out.
I had many choices and analyzed and compared several manufacturers. I chose the Mustang mainly because of its dual rotation tines, reputation, American-made, and warranty.
