Details

The Snow Shovel Kit is a part of the EGO POWER+ Multi-Head System. Directional control of its up to 25-foot throwing distance makes it unlike any other cordless snow shovel on the market. The electric snow shovel attachment cleans a 12-inch-wide path, making it great for snow removal on sidewalks, driveways, and decks. Clear 6 inches of snow on a 4-car driveway with the included 56V 4.0Ah ARC Lithium™ battery. This electric shovel features an innovative overload protection system that temporarily disengages auger rotation under extreme load and unexpected jams to prevent damage to the motor and electronics. The Power Head is compatible with all EGO Multi-Head attachments so you have the flexibility with the system. Equipped with a high-efficiency brushless motor, variable speed trigger, two-speed selector, and lock off switch for added safety. This combo kit includes the electric Snow Shovel Attachment, Power Head, 56V 4.0Ah ARC Lithium™ battery, and 320W charger. Experience Power Beyond Belief™ without the noise, fuss, and fumes.

I bought this attachment to clean around my doors and garage, small areas where my larger snow blower can't reach. We had 14" of light fluffy snow and the snow shovel worked great. My only gripe is the angle of the head...you need to bend over in order to push through the snow. My back ached afterwards. I ordered an extended handle hoping this helps.

This tool works great!!! Just like all the other Ego products I've purchased in the past. Only small drawback is the weight, it's a little heavier than I expected. But after using it a few times I found sliding it back to the top of the drive way instead of carrying it worked well. I recommend this tool !!

This is a workhorse! Fortunately, I bought the snow shovel attachment for my power head in the fall and, sure enough, we have had three significant snow accumulations in January and February: 6-8", 3-4" and 1". The snow shovel has worked impressively and reduced the strain of shoveling for a 73 year-old! The 1" accumulation was like pushing a vacuum, more push force needed for the 3-4" and, sometimes for the 6-8" accumulation, I needed to take two passes. The directional throw works easily and effectively. The work time on one battery was lengthy, but I have a second battery from other Ego tools. I cannot speak too highly of my Ego tools: leaf blower, brush cutter and string trimmer. Next up...an Ego lawn mower!

Performance surpassed expectation. Surprisingly was able to handle 6” of heavy wet snow along driveway using power setting #2. It won’t replace a 2 stage gas machine but it’s not designed for that. Worked like a dream on second floor deck— easily throwing snow over railing.

It does the job well in up to six inches of fluffy snow. It even got through 3-4 inches of snow covered by a layer of freezing rain. It took a little getting used to the weight, but overall we're very pleased with it!
