Live at 9,000 + elevation where we get lots of smaller "dry snow" storms vs Calif which can get huge wet snowstorms. Anything up to 12" generally clears with ease - IF - I get to it before it sets up and gets denser. Then I may see clogging and not enough power to power through the sludge.

Used this for the first time when the temperature was at 5°F and about 3" if snow. It permitted me to clear my steep and complicated driveway in less than 1/5 time it would have taken with a shovel, much appreciated at those temperatures. A little bit of learning curve with the controls: speed, chute elevation, etc. in the complicate areas but work great on the longer straight runs. Hoping it just collects dust for the rest of the season.

Excellent results, Old lbower blew up and with a 90 goot driveway feared the shovelling for recent storm 8 inches of heavy snow, 90 pct cleared in one go, Next time 3 inches more and easily completed whole job. Easy to use, starts ,of ourse, first time!

I normally don't spend too much time on theses reviews. In this case I feel I have to share my thoughts on this snow blower. I'm 70 years old and I have owned two snow blowers. The first one was a Honda that I purchased in 1996. We lived in Traverse City Michigan at the time. An area that is known for its winter snowfall. That machine I actually gave to my nephew, who lives in Gaylord Michigan (Also a high snow area!) When we moved to the Muskegon Michigan area in 2022. I put off buying another snow blower for a couple seasons. I had been quite curious about this EGO snow blower. But just not sure if I wanted to take that task up again at my age. WOW! is an absolute understatement! I was shocked for a number of reasons. Maneuverability, clearing quality, power, lights! Everything about this machine is so well thought out! I would recommend this snow blower to anybody who is in the market! Its light, never needs to warm up, you don't have to store gas or oil, and you don't have to break your back pulling on a rope to start it! To show how impressed I am, I actually called my nephew in Gaylord and told him when the Honda dies he should absolutely get an EGO! My neighbors on both sides and across the street have all noticed me using the blower this winter and I'm pretty sure a sale or two will be made in the near future. I really can not say enough about this unit! I easily can clear my driveway twice on 1 charge, and I have a 4 car driveway. Good Work!

This unit is the best two stage on the market! It is a beast!! I clear four neighborhood driveways and sidewalks before the power starts to get weak. But looking back I would have had to fill up with gas on a ICE snow blower! You will have a good time with this EGO product!

Really liked its power and charge lasting 30 minutes. Got through heavy snow and the plowed part as t end of driveway. Charge does take almost 2 hours. Chute direction is difficult.

I am very impressed with my first EGO product. It handles all depths of snow from the lightest to the heaviest. It really is very impressive. The only thing that keeps it from by 5-stars is a small problem with the line that controls the height angle of the chute. It is attached to the back of the main post by a small screwed bracket and it looks like that bracket has "cut" the rubber sheath of the cable so that the cable itself is now exposed. I have managed a temporary fix but I will now need to go through the challenge of getting it repaired.

I've used my EGO snow blower twice so far after mild snowstorms. I like its performance in handling up to 4-6 inches of snow. It handles the harder packed snow the plow trucks throw into my driveway. The only drawback is the life of the battery, and for me that depends on how packed the snow is. I wish batteries were not so expensive.

It is a little to early to give a thorough review as I’ve only used it once, that being said we did get pounded with 40 cm of snow and it did power it’s way through like butter. Some of the drifts were up to 90 cm deep with no issues. I didn’t get a chance to test it out on the berm left buy the plows as we have a company do that . Next winter will be the real test. As far as battery longevity, they went for 45 mins before needing a recharge. I’m sure under normal snow fall conditions I will do my 4 car driveway plus the pathways around my house( which are substantial) on 1 charge.

Very nimble and light but powerful 2 stage snowblower. Easily cut through a foot of new snow and was able to throw it 40+ feet over existing snow banks. Batteries lasted 1+ hours.

I bought this to replace my Kobalt 80V machine. It wouldn’t work in heavy snow and I had to push it. I’m too old for that. I bought the Ego two weeks ago. Since then we’ve had 50 cm of snow. It cut through that snow like a hot knife through butter. And it even did the windrows that the plows leave. I did my driveway, and two neighbours and still had half battery left. I am thrilled with this product. I hope it lasts.

Pretty awesome. But i have a 4 car driveway in ottawa and when it snows good plus road snowplow it just doesnt make it with 2x 10ah batteries. So not entirely sure if ill keep it or return it. Batteries are super expensive so if your have some renewed ones i can take that be great ego.
